  14. Amazing is a series of screen savers where you experience a 
  15. variety of incredibly wonderful views in or not in the world.  
  16. It provides not only animations but also sound effects.  A 
  17. major difference between Amazing and other screen savers is that 
  18. Amazing is designed from the point of art - It is a life art! 
  19. In this park, Clock, You will experience a mountain view through
  20. different time of 24 hours. That is, the background will vary
  21. according to the REAL TIME every two hours. It also provides
  22. a digital clock as an option. Enjoy it!

  25.  The SETUP.EXE will copy five files into your windows directory:
  26.  
  27.  az_ck.src  -- The main executable file of Amazing I - Sunset;
  28.  az_ck.txt  -- Documentation file;

  31.  az_ck_9.bmp -- animation images (required);

  33.  az_ck_0.wav -- A WAV file for sound effects;

  53. Savervisor(V3.0) is a Screen Saver and Wall Paper Manager packed with Amazing. 
  54. It provides following functions:
  55.  
  56.   - It appears as an icon that allows you launch a screen saver
  57.     instantly by a single click of RIGHT mouse button. Note: You
  58.     have to select a saver in Savervisor's setup screen in order
  59.     to have Savervisor launch when clicking at its icon with RIGHT
  60.     mouse button.
  61.  
  62.   - It allows you specify the sensitive areas where you can click
  63.     the RIGHT mouse button to launch a saver instantly.
  64.  
  65.   - It provide saver scheduling capability.  That is, it allows
  66.     you specify what saver to be activate at a specified hour
  67.     through a week.  It also allows you switch savers through
  68.     all the savers in your Windows directory and specify switchng
  69.     period.

  71.   - It can be run in a INVISIBLE mode. With this great feature,
  72.     you can just put it into Windows Startup group in Program 
  73.     Manager and forget it: It will take care all the management 
  74.     tasks while you never realize it is working for you!

  76.   - It can be set to "Always on top" to increase your
  77.     accessibility to its features.

  79.   - It can display(illustrate) all the screen savers in your
  80.     Windows directory in different styles(ONCE, CIRCLE, and RANDOM).

  82.   - It works as the saver section of Windows Desktop
  83.     allowing you select, setup, and test a screen saver from
  84.     within its setup screen.

  86.   - It provides a very strong wall paper management capability.

  88.     First, it allows you to specify any BMP files as your
  89.     Wallpaper from anywhere of your file system(including hard,
  90.     network, and CD drives) in a particular hour through a week.

  92.     Secondly, it allows you schedule BMP files as your 
  93.     Wallpaper by specifying switching period through your
  94.     file system.

  97.     Finally, it can "walk" you through the entire file system
  98.     (including hard, network, and CD drives).  That is, it
  99.     displays all the BMP files in your file system one after 
  100.     another as wall paper - You can see exactly how the BMP file 
  101.     looks as a Wallpaper on your screen instead of a single BMP 
  102.     image(specially, when Tile function is set). You can choose 
  103.     from either automatic or clicking to switch images when BMP is 
  104.     illustrated.

  106.   - It also provides some other function such as tile setting.

  110. How to use Savervisor:
  111.  
  112.   - There are at least three ways to use it:
  113.       1). Always running and INVISIBLE.  You can set its running
  114.           mode into INVISIBLE and put it into Startup group of 
  115.           Windows Program Manager so that Savervisor is launched 
  116.           automatically when you start your Windows.  In this way, 
  117.           Savervisor will work in background - You will never see 
  118.           it while it is working for you: carrying out all the tasks 
  119.           according to you Saver schedule and Wallpaper
  120.           schedule, launching savers instantly when you click the
  121.           RIGHT mouse button at the area you specify.
  122.

  124.       2). Always running but visible. In this way, you can access
  125.           setup screen of Savervisor by a double click at its 
  126.           running icon#. For easy access, you can set it ALWAYS ON TOP.
  127.       3). Use it to setup you wall paper or select a screen saver
  128.           and turn it off after setup.

  130.   - After Launching Savervisor from Program Manager, You will see
  131.     an animation icon at the top left corner of your screen if
  132.     it is set to visible mode. Note: But you will see nothing
  133.     if it is set to INVISIBLE mode.  In this case, You can
  134.     launch Savervisor one more time if you like to bring up
  135.     its setup screen in order to turn it into visible mode or
  136.     change setting of Savervisor. After you launch it second
  137.     time, the running icon will appear so that you can double
  138.     click at it to bring up the setup screen.

  140.    - To access Savervisor's setup screen, you need to double
  141.      click at the running icon.
  142.    
  143.    - You must bring up the setup screen of Savervisor in order
  144.      to turn it off.
  145.    
  146.    - Clicking the RIGHT mouse button on the Savervisor icon or
  147.      any sensitive areas that you specify will enable the 
  148.      current screen saver in Windows Desktop and selecting any 
  149.      screen saver in the setup screen of Savervisor has the some 
  150.      effect of selecting a saver in Windows Desktop.

  152. The setup.exe will allow you to specify the target directory
  153. where the Savervisor will reside and create a group for Savervisor in
  154. Program Manager.  It will copy following files into the target directory:
  155.  
  156.   saverv.exe - Savervisor;
  157.   readme.txt - this file;
  158.   saverv.txt - the same as this file but used by setup screen of 
  159.                Savervisor;
  160.   regist.wav - WAV used to setup screen;
  161.   utility1.dll - an utility required by Savervisor.

  164.  Why use Savervisor with Amazing?
  165.    There are at least two reasons to use Savervisor with Amazing:
  166.       1). Savervisor enable you to launch Amazing instantly by a
  167.           single RIGHT mouse button click.
  168.       2). Savervisor provides schedule system which allows you
  169.           arrange your favorite savers and wallpaper in your style.
  170.       3). Its INVISIBLE feature allows you to "forget " it while
  171.           it is working for you.

  176. TroubleShooting:
  177.     -  Q: I have a multimedia system, with .WAV capability, and
  178.           in fact, 
  179.           I hear .WAV files with most every application.  
  180.           Why can I NOT hear sounds with your screen saver?  
  181.           (The Sounds option is grayed out, and I cannot check
  182.            it.)
  183.        A: The Saver disables Sound option if it does not detect a
  184.           sound device that it knows. You can enforce it accepts
  185.           you sound system by following steps:
  186.               1). disable (turn off) the saver;
  187.               2). open (double click at icon of) file            
  188.  
  189.                   c:\windows\az_ck.ini
  190.                   (assuming c:\windows is your Windows directory)
  191.                    in your windows File Manager;
  192.               3). change 
  193.                       EnforceSoundOn= 0
  194.                   into
  195.                       EnforceSoundOn= 1
  196.               4). save and close the file;       
  197.               5.) bring up the setup screen of the saver;
  198.               6). check (enable) field "Sound On";
  199.               7). click at OK to exit the setup screen of the
  200.                   saver;
  201.       
  202.     Q:  I have downloaded your screen saver recently 
  203.         and I was having a problem with getting it to work properly.  
  204.         After initialising I get a message "... caused a general 
  205.         protection fault in module VGA.DRV at 0001:0ca2". 
  206.   
  207.     A:  Changed your screen drivber in winsetup to SVGA.

  210. How to register Amazing:
  211. ================
  212.  You can register Amazing - Clock in Compuserve using SWREG
  213.  #4847: Just GO SWREG and use 4847 to register.  After you register
  214.  in Compuserv, I will EMail you the Registration Code.  You can
  215.  then key it into the Registration Code field of the Registration
  216.  screen in setups of Amazing and Savervisor.

  246.           both Amazing and Savervisor. you will then receive 
  247.           limited functions provided by Savervisor.(The functions
  248.           above marked with * are not available if you register
  249.           Savervisor with the Registration Code for Amazing.)
  250.       2). To enable its functions completely you need to register
  251.           Savervisor using SWREG #4880 in Compuserve.
